Fall/Winter MOPS Swap!

Join us at Harborside on Wednesday October 27th from 9:30-11:30 (setup starts at 9:00) for a FREE swap of gently used children's clothing/gear. Here's how it will work:

  • Bring in any children's items (or maternity/nursing clothes) to church the day of the swap. Tables will be set up by gender and size, as well as a location for gear.

  • We will sort our items and put them on the appropriate tables, then "shop" for what we need or like for our own kids!

  • You are under no obligation to take anything-you can donate only if you would like. Also, you are not limited to the quantity you brought (if you bring in 5 outfits, you are not limited to taking only 5 outfits if you are in need of more.

  • Any items left at the church will be donated to The Safety Harbor Community Center.

Things to keep in mind for items to bring:

  • Clothing: gently used play, dress and maternity clothes with no tears or stains, etc.

  • Gear: infant toys, rattles, bottle warmers, etc. in safe working order-bring manuals if they are available!

  • Car seats: no more than six years old with manufacturer sticker visible

  • Bouncy seats, excersaucers, play mats, baby carriers: not more than 5 years old and in safe working condition

  • Cribs/bassinets: The shelter will accept bassinets but not cribs, so you may have to bring your crib home if there are no takers. No drop front cribs due to recall. Any unclaimed large furniture items must be removed by the donor.

  • NO big kid or toddler toys, unless they have ALL the parts well contained (taped in a ziplock bag), as it is too hard to get all those things together for donating.

Childcare is not provided, but there will be a play area set up in the sancuary to keep the kiddos busy or bring your stroller! You are not obligated to stay the entire two hours, however if you prefer to "re-claim" any of your items that were not swapped, you will need to hang around to get them at the end. We are looking forward to blessing each other and those in our community with things we no longer need!

  1. This sounds like a great event. But, I don't have much to give away, can I still come to shop?
