Kelly Lilly shared her Thankful box ~ hand made in MOPS several years ago and a continuing tradition in her family. Each Thanksgiving, they place written "thank you's" inside the box and while around the table, they share them with each other. Saving their thank you's from year to year is a wonderful reminder of God's blessings in their lives. 
This simple craft is easy to do and fun to involve the kids in too! 
Michelle Knoop shared her holiday photo album with us. It is a Hallmark product with pre-made scrapbook pages for each year ~ ready to simply insert a Christmas picture...EASY! Love it =)
Also an annual event for the Knoops is to visit Experience Bethlehem at Hope United Methodist Church in Trinity where the town of Bethlehem is recreated on the night Jesus was born. More info on this wonderful event is included in a later blog posting.
Michelle Main shared her favorite Christmas book called "A Special Place for Santa" that she reads to her little ones. This narrative blends imagination and historical facts in a delightful way that brings Santa Claus - St. Nicholas - to his knees before the living Christ.
Melissa Strickland's father would read "A Happy Book of Christmas Stories" to the family at Christmas time to remember the spirit of the season. Thanks to eBay, she is able to continue this tradition with her kids.
Jessie Wilbur along with many others enjoy having an Elf on the Shelf during the Christmas season. This little scout elf arrives after Thanksgiving is under orders not to speak to the children, but grown-ups have been known to send and receive occasional messages through the elf to Santa. It helps the children to be on their best behavior and all it takes is a gentle reminder that "the elf is watching," for errant behavior to be quickly modified. Every morning the elf is perched in a new position where the kids can share with him their wishes for Christmas.
