Experience Bethlehem is an outreach of Hope United Methodist Church. Each year, over 300 volunteers build and inhabit the city of Bethlehem for four consecutive nights. Visitors are encouraged to bring a canned good as their "tax" to be paid to the Romans who control the city. Visitors then have the opportunity to walk through the city of Bethlehem as they encounter shopkeepers, dancers, soldiers, and those living in and visiting the city during a census taken by Ceasar. After journeying through the city, visitors will encounter shepherds, angels, the three kings, the innkeeper, live animals, and finally the manger where Christ was born.Mark your calendars for December 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Hope United Methodist Church in Trinity! www.hope-umc.com
