Operation Christmas Child

MOPS will be participating in the awesome ministry opportunity Operation Christmas Child this year. At our next meeting, we will be packing shoe boxes full of gifts that we all may bring for needy children around the world. The most important part of packing a shoe box is your prayers for the child who will receive it. Ask God to use your gifts to reveal His love in a special way and draw the child to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. You can get your child involved too ~ what a great way to teach the importance of helping those in need.
Please donate $7 or more for each shoe box you prepare to help cover shipping and other project costs. You can give online by using the EZGIVE option at http://www.samaritanspurse.org/, or you can write a check to Samaritan’s Purse (note “OCC” on memo line) and place it in an envelope on top of the gift items inside your box. If you or your family are preparing more than one shoe box, please make one combined donation.

Now let's go shopping!!!
1. Determine whether your gift will be for a boy or a girl, and the child’s age category: 2-4, 5-9, or 10-14.

  1. This would be a great time to get your friends involved! You can either ask them to send in a box with you or invite them to the next meeting to share in the packing fun!
